The Cut Sheet
Cut Sheets are due at the time of your slaughter appointment for pork and lamb, and within a week of your beef appointment. Not submitting your cut sheet will forfeit your custom cutting instructions and our standard custom cut sheet will be used to process your livestock. Please use this cut sheet to choose which cuts of meat you would like.

Processing (Resale and Not For Resale)
We offer the same processing price whether your order is for resale or not for resale.
Our goal is to keep pricing simple, transparent, and consistent for all customers—farmers, homesteaders, and families.
We can handle, slaughter, cut and package your meat. We have processing times available, please call 252-289-3083.
Animal Drop off times for the day you have made the appointment is between 7AM-3:30PM.
Cut Sheets are required prior to your slaughter appointment. Lamb and goat cut sheets will need to be filled out in person.
Custom Processing Pricing
Our pricing is updated periodically to reflect current costs. The rates listed here apply to all appointments scheduled on or after February 16, 2026.
Beef
Slaughter Fee – $100/head
$0.30/lb grinding fee for all ground products
Standard Cut (This option will be all bone in cuts; you will not be able to choose any boneless cuts) $1.25/lb processing fee for whole animal (plus the additional $0.30/lb grinding fee for any ground cuts)
Boneless Steaks $1.35/lb processing fee for the whole animal (plus the additional $0.30/lb grinding fee for any ground cuts)
Boneless roasts and steaks, Flat Irons, Kabobs, Stir Fry, ect $1.50/lb processing fee for the whole animal (plus the additional $0.30/lb grind fee for any ground cuts)
Hamburger Patties – $1.09/pound additional charge.
Quartering Fee of $5 per quarter
Pork
$0.30/lb grinding fee for any ground products (including sausage).
Processing – $1.50/lb for pigs weighing between 115 and 599 pounds.
Pigs weighing 115 pounds or less live weight will incur a $35 slaughter fee plus $1.29/lb for further processing.
BBQ Pigs – if less than 125 pounds, $35 fee. If over 125 pounds, $0.28/lb fee.
Pigs over 600 pounds live weight will incur an additional $35 handling fee.
$1.09/lb additional charge for patties.
Smoked products are an additional fee that will be discussed at drop off, there are variations and complexities that will be determined upon drop off.
Goats & Sheep
Slaughter & Cut – $149/head
$0.30/lb grinding fee for any ground products.
Deer Processing – Walstonburg

Contentnea Farms provides custom deer processing at our Walstonburg facility. Choose from a variety of cuts including:

📍 Drop-Off Instructions (During Deer Season)
We accept deer daily until 9PM throughout deer season.
- Use the driveway leading to the back of the building
- Follow the signs to the drop zone
- A team member will be there to help you unload your deer
