If you put a deposit down, we’ll chat and get your cut sheet filled out to ensure your cow is butchered just the way you’d like it. A full cow will yield approximately 450-500/lbs of meat with the total cost based on $5.75/lb hanging weight. The hanging weight is not the actual weight of the meat. The meat is roughly 65-70% of the hanging weight.

Contentnea Farms farms, harvests and butchers our own cattle. When you purchase a whole cow from us, we are sending you every cut that we feel most folks would expect to receive from a whole cow. When purchasing a whole cow, you can expect approximately 450-500 lbs. of grass-fed, grain-finished beef.
